Who’s Ready For A Great Little Sew-Along?
In this, out next sew-along vote, I have two wonderful dress sewing patterns for your perusal.
Both dresses are elegant in style and can be worn at those up and coming summer events, weddings, garden parties and other social occasions.
A time when we, as fashion sewers truly shine!
The warmer weather allows our freedom of creative expression, to model our own unique flair with designs I guarantee your friends and family won’t be wearing.
So take a look at your dress sewing pattern choices below, and I urge you to vote in the poll found at the bottom of this post.

The Sewing Patterns
The Butterick B5640 Dress sewing pattern and the New Look 6094 Dress sewing pattern.
Both sewing patterns offer a good choice of style variation so should suit most body shapes.
Our Sewing Pattern Descriptions

The Butterick B5640 Dress. A loose fitted dress with choices of patch pockets, a collar, sleeve band or tie belt. There are gentle gathers to the front and back of the dress, self-faced midriff and centre back zip / zipper fastening.
The New Look 6094 Dress. The sewing pattern offers a choice of a sleeveless or a cap sleeved bodice. The skirt section of the dress can be flared with inverted pleats and in seam pockets or can be straight shaped. The dresses have a centre back zip / zipper fastening.
