‘Fashion sewing is a great lifestyle indulgence. A bold claim you may think, but I should know. I have spent most of my adult life fashion sewing and putting these skills, instilled in me by my mother, to very good use during a long (and varied) career lecturing, designing and selling. I am about as passionate as you can be about this particular subject, and made it my business (literally) to encourage and develop the beginner fashion sewer, thus keeping this once dying art form alive, kicking and invigorated.
‘So why choose to be a fashion sewer?’ I can hear my students ask; knowing full well a quick trip to the local high street will feed an insatiable appetite to dress in disposable pleasures. And yes, in reality, you can. But! Although you’ve bought a handful of t-shirts for the price of a small take away meal, so has the person stood next to you in the queue, and that therein is where the problem lies and the answer to the question revealed’.

Hi! I just purchased the book, I’m looking forward to it. I have never used Adobe Digital Editions before, but I think I have it installed correctly, however I can’t seem to get the book to load into it properly — I’m getting a licensing error message. Hopefully you can help me out, thanks so much!
